Council Responsibilities

The Town of Kerrobert Council fulfills the legislative function of the Town’s municipal government. The Council is responsible for establishing corporate policy and setting the strategic direction of Town staff for both short and long term goals.

Town Council is comprised of seven elected officials. The Council is made up of one chief elected official and six councillors. The chief elected official, referred to as the Mayor, is elected by the eligible electors of the Town of Kerrobert.

Meetings

Council Meetings take place at 7:00pm on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of each month.*

*Except for the months of July, August and December when meetings are held only once a month. For 2022, the meeting will be: July 20th, August 17 & December 14th.

*Deadline for requests to have items added to the agenda is noon, the Friday before the next council meetings.

*Requests must be presented in written form either as an email or letter.

* The administrator will then confirm if your request has been added to the agenda. Please include phone number with your request.
