Have you considered running for municipal council?
Our election is on November 13th, 2024.
Candidate eligibility requirements in all municipalities:
- At least 18 years old on the day of the election
- Canadian citizen at the time of submitting the nomination paper
- Is not disqualified pursuant to the LGEA or any other Act
- Has resided in Saskatchewan for at least six months immediately preceding the date the nomination paper is submitted
- Has resided in the municipality, or land now in the municipality, for at least three consecutive months immediately preceding the date the nomination paper is submitted.

Nomination Packages can be found under Public Notice, and are also available to be picked up at the Town Office Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM. They are due October 23rd in the hands of the Town Office at 4:00 PM.
To obtain a criminal record/vulnerable sector check as required, call ahead (306) 463-4626 and hit #3 on the call tree to ensure someone is able to perform the check. When you go, bring in:
- Your copy of Bylaw No. 1058-20 included as the last page of your nomination packet, showing we require one.
- 2 pieces of valid, government issued ID. (Driver’s license and health cards are preferred by the detachments)
You may withdraw your nomination until 4:00 PM on October 22nd, 2024.
